This cover is specifically designed to fit the Laser Standard, Laser Radial and Laser 4.7, as well as the ILCA 7, ILCA 6 and ILCA 4.
Will this cover fit other Laser dinghies?
No. This cover is designed specifically for the Laser Standard / Radial / 4.7 and ILCA 7 / 6 / 4 hull. It will not fit other Laser-family dinghies with different hull designs, including the Laser Two or Laser Bahia. Please check our other boat cover listings for covers designed for different dinghy and sailboat models.
What outdoor weather protection does my cover provide?
Our outdoor boat covers are designed to protect against rain, dust, dirt, UV exposure, leaves, bird droppings and other everyday outdoor contaminants. We use different materials and construction depending on the specific cover, so please refer to the individual product description for details about the material and level of protection provided by your cover.
Can I use my cover when it’s windy?
Our boat covers are designed with securing systems appropriate to the specific cover and boat. When correctly fitted and secured, they are designed to remain in place under normal outdoor conditions. Like any fabric cover, however, they can be affected by severe or extreme winds. We recommend removing the cover when unusually high winds or severe storms are expected. Damage caused by storms, extreme winds or improper securing is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Can I use my cover while towing?
No. Unless a specific product listing expressly states otherwise, our boat covers are designed for storage protection and we do not recommend using them while the boat is being towed on an open trailer.
Can moisture build up underneath my cover?
Moisture and condensation can develop underneath any outdoor cover depending on temperature, humidity, weather conditions and ventilation. Some of our boat covers use breathable materials and some do not, so please refer to the individual product description for details. We recommend periodically removing the cover to allow both the boat and cover to air out, particularly during extended periods of outdoor storage.
How should I fold and store my cover?
Allow the cover to dry before folding it for extended storage. Folding the cover neatly will make it easier to reinstall the next time you use it. Avoid storing a wet or damp cover in its storage bag or other enclosed space for prolonged periods, as trapped moisture can encourage mold or mildew.
How should I care for my boat cover?
Periodically remove loose dirt and debris and allow the cover to air out. If cleaning is required, follow any care instructions provided with your specific cover. Always allow the cover to dry thoroughly before folding it for extended storage.
Does my boat cover include a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies depending on the specific boat cover and material. Please refer to the individual product description for the warranty that applies to your cover, or contact us if you have any questions about warranty coverage.

Nice flexible material, nice bright blue colour, easy to put on, fits perfectly over boom and mast base on deck, easy to fasten straps, has survived one storm and lots of rain so far. Longevity remains to be seen but so far excellent.

This cover's integrity was severely affected by the sun within the first season of use. I reached out and had a kind reply from a person who was willing to work with me on a solution, which I very much appreciated. I recommend trying a UV protectant spray before use
Solid construction at a great price.
I am happy with this cover for my Laser so far. The dit is exact. I had ordered one from Amazon last year and it fell apart just after one winter. This material seems much more solid. The ordering was easy and delivery fast.

We bought the Premium Laser Cover to actually
cover a Byte. After countless research and exorbitant canvas quotes we happened upon
Custom Covers and WOW we are so pleased we did. The support we received from Michelle was nothing but first class. The blue cover is well made and looks amazing covering the Byte…. albeit a little long…. Byte being12ft Laser being 14 ft the stern and side fit perfectly, the under straps keep it snug and the spars are covered up with the xtra fabric. As one reviewer said the prettiest dingy &cover in the dingy park.

Bought it last year. Bought it again this year. Boat sits in sun and all weather all summer. This protects it.
Just bought this again. The boat sits in all weather with this on it so it did bio degrade and the fabric failed. Why buy it again? Price point is good and it protects the boat.
You can take the cover off the Laser and compete equally with the other Lasers. But back in the dinghy park you will be the best dressed dinghy, full stop (period). Unless of course someone has this cover and a bow tie.
Bottom line: I bought one and if I ever need another boat cover I know who I will buy it from.
Fabric: I don’t know the weight but it’s thick, plenty thick enough for a quality boat cover
Construction: Stitching is doubled and there were no loose ends
Fit: Perfect, made to measure. It has “double breasted” overlap for the rudder gudgeon, plus a waist draw-string *and* 3 belly straps
